The band was formed in august of 2006when two friends, Nick Davies and former guitarist Dan Waldron were sitting around and wanted to make some music. The Two Fat Man Band was then formed as a temporary name. Then one day Dan said to nick "Hey I know this guy who's pretty good at bass, maybe we should see if he'll play for us." Nick agreed and Aaron joined the band, creating Heather Hits Harder. The band has gone through several line-up changes, but most currently the addition of drummer Matt Ferrebee.
