I'm a metal fan and musician from way back in the day. In the late 80's I played guitar for several local punk and thrash bands. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years, and I've been producing for 4 years. After a long stint away from metal, I got the itch to come back to it. So this is my metal project, "Shreds of Black Cloud." I play all the instruments except the drums, which are programmed. I try to program the drums so that they sound like a real drummer is playing them. I do the vocals for each song, but I'm really not that great at it. I'm looking for experienced vocalists who have the proper recording equipment. If any of you vocalists out there want to join me in this project, let me know. I write lyrics and have a lot of song concepts. I kind of prefer it that way, me writing all the lyrics that is, but I'm open. This project is about otherworldly places, the supernatural, other realms. I guess you could call it a bit Gothic, and symphonic too. The songs here are subject to change, depends on how happy I am with the mixes. I'll be refining my recording and mixing process. Finding what works and doesn't work.

Lyrics
beneath Elysium, and above the netherworld a limbo existence half asleep, a dreamstate, a nightmare incarnated, torn from the ether taken from the timeless void, thrust into chaos awaken oh sleeper, from thy sleep welcome to a world of suffering this domain, where souls are dim and torment each other on just whim pain and torture, inflicted on their own creatures of lower thought, like devils they roam history of carnage, destruction, devastation these tormenters lack mercy preying upon one other, opressing each the other endlessly day and night they struggle no rest for the wicked lawless by nature behold the almost infinte carnage countless souls snuffed out throughout the ages
