acoustic folk rock
Dave Stannard plays the acoustic guitar and sings, by himself, all on his own. While he sings and plays, he also dances around a lot and is good fun to watch. He calls this "a performance"; most people agree. His songs are actually written by him, and not others, usually. Sometimes the songs turn out quite catchy and people sing them in the bath or play them on local radio shows.

Lyrics
Meet ethanol, meet methanol Two of the finest friends I have Meet Mr Glass, Mr Boot meet ass If you’re cool enough to know them then your radiators broken I am, as you can see, extraordinary, me Like a blind man who can see Do you know what I mean? Pushing the needle right into the red The way that I’m going I’m better off dead I don’t think I heard anything that I said Got my head in a hole Got a hole in my head Preach rock and roll, milk and alcohol Free as a bird, tripping over my words Teach the world to sing, could mean anything Come on steaming, like, I’m on it. I’m nearly supersonic Pretty pink flamingo, yeah Credit it to Ringo, yeah La la la la la, oh yeah I’ll never come down, I’m the talk of the town Got my feet off the ground, when my friends are around, oh yeah Things are getting worse for the final verse Use a formula, good, so you knew that it would See me overact, with an ounce of tact “Ready to become a god?” she said. “I Keep a gun beside the bed” Hole in the head (I’ve got a) Hole in the head (I’ve got a) Hole in the head (I’ve got a) Hole in the head
