Story behind the song
this song took 56 takes. phil spector had us in the studio all night, drinking espressos with a three shots of vodka and a twist of lime. we thought it was perfect after the first take, but you know phil, with his standards. so make a long story short, the quality product that you see in front of you was the result of many painful hours in the studio.
