The Dayton United Lutheran Chorale (DULC) was established in 1985 to promote an appreciation of sacred choral music. The chorale also provides an opportunity for area singers to share their time and talent in praising God through song. The Chorale's ministry is supported solely through donations from individuals and organizations.

Story behind the song
Starting with a majestic fanfare, the tempo soon changes, calling for "driving energy" and a tricky rhythm as we are called to "make a joyful noise to the ends of the earth". Use all the instruments at your disposal, including the snapping of fingers to let the message ring out loud and clear; the message being, "Gloria Deo", Glory to God!
