A simple groove dancing around a Cm9 with a few #7's thrown in. In simpler words, it's a floaty, melancholy thing with a good beat.

I was allowed time with a drumkit, a bunch of amps, mics and a soundboard. This is what I came up with on my own. After about ten aborted takes on the drums, I came up with the short intro beat that just stops. I hit the crash, and came in again; I like the effect. There's a bit of studio chatter at the end of the drum track and the sounds of me sitting down at the kit; they're there because they add a bit of character to this recording, and chopping 'em off seems a bit uncool.
