I am a solo recording artist who has been composing songs and recording my own projects for more than 30 years.
Story behind the song
Ben Brooks, my Glen Gang band mate, gave me chords to a song he was working on. I developed the instrument tracks at my studio and gave them back to him. Then the song went in to completely different directions. Scott "Oskar" Kirby, our band's lead singer, fashioned lyrics and the band's version of the song became "Innocent Ones." Mine, which of course was more syrupy, became "Gazing Right Through Me."
