I love making music however it comes out - although pop must be my hidden middle name. The band is just me and, at a recent gig, a bassist with glasses who makes a deep noise with a guitar. I haven't recorded him yet though as I'm a busy boy looking after two kids, Charlie and Joe. Joe is over the road with a mate, Charlie is playing Bionicles and my song went to NUMBER 1 - although it is now number 2. When I perform my songs live people clap when they finish - and there not just being polite cause this is Australia and audiences always tell you what they think.

Story behind the song
It was waiting 10 years to be completed but lying awake with a surgeon seem to stimulate my creativity, so here it is
Lyrics
THROW ME A LINE Sinking quietly out of view I should be setting alight your life Clock by my bed stopped last night, I should be setting alight your life Can you feel what I can feel inside my heart and soul Can you really feel what I want, I’ve never felt so whole Throw me a line and I’ll patch up the world by teatime (sunrise, nightfall) Throw me a line and I’ll give you the gospel truth Throw me a line and I’ll catch you wherever you might fall Balance all with what you know – about me I should be setting alight your life I’ll give you strength I know you need I should be setting alight your life I can take you anywhere you might wanna go in your life I can give you all really wanted to feel Throw me a line and I’ll patch up the world by teatime (sunrise, all time, one time) Throw me a line and I’ll give you the gospel truth Throw me a line and I’ll catch you wherever you might fall When you’re feeling all alone When your heart is locked up tight When your mind is standing there screaming no way out I’ll reverse that doubt Throw me a line and I’ll patch up the world by teatime (sunrise, all time, one time) Throw me a line and I’ll give you the gospel truth Throw me a line and I’ll take you there, wherever you might call Throw me a line and I’ll give you the place to fall Anywhere at all

I really enjoyed listening to "Throw Me A Line". It is a very moving song that is well-structured and has an excellent hook. Very nice heart-felt vocals vocals and good sounding guitar. 5 STARS *****
