Story behind the song
Believe it or not.I was listening to some Yes songs and have always wanted to right a song that would reflect their sound.Not only that but I was always intriged with the fact that 75%of the songs I have enjoyed from them I still to this day dont have a clue what the songs mean,But when ever I hear them they alway bring out emotions and feelings ,and usually those only come from story or songs that have real meaning. Ok so I said all that to say.....I started out to write a tune that sounded like Yes and had no real meaning. It didnt work.........hehe It ended up to be a 4 part song,and part 5 is just ideas at this point. It always happens when I try to steer a song one way,it always goes another.

Danny, your music is reminding of P Floyd and early Genesis ( among my my faves) with some interesting twists, the vocals and the musical ideas go great together, great vocals too, will spend a lot of time here in the future. Great!

Danny - when you said "four part thingamajiggy" I thought you were inviting me to collaborate with you on a 4-part harmony vocal - LOL! This is fantastic work, and very ambitious. Let me pay you a high compliment - this reminds me of the Who's classic "Tommy". You have a rock opera here and I love the arranging, producing and especially the background vocals.

Really great vocals Danny, they could come up in the mix a bit for clarity. It's great music that is framing the story of paradise lost, nice work on this one!

Out of the four, I love this one the most. Great work! I love the fun light percussive sounds that you play with while you're singing about such a serious message. The lyrics are awwesome! I'm going to add a five star to the second part as well: the chord and melody on that one is fantastic! I'll listen to 3 and 4 a different time but I love the prog stuff - there's a little Neal Morse in there (he's got some great Christian prog stuff)! Blessings!

Great story telling with a tune that matches the picture. Seems like it all goes together like the music fits the words. I got a chuckle from that line "your eyes will be open and the fun can begin", and the playful tone of the music matched the words making it quite an art form with outstanding creativity! Very enjoyable.
