I'm no renoir or van gogh, but lately I've tried
just a hobby really  , to keep me occupied
and I've mixed all the colors, just like your supposed to do
but this canvas just keeps turning blue

and I can't paint a picture of a sunrise,  capture it's light, 
cause her memories in everything I do.
and I've tried to brush away the heartaches, cover my mistakes.
what a masterpiece, a self-portrait in blue..


I read somewhere da vinci, it took him quite awhile 
when he painted mona lisa's smile
I sympathize with van gogh, who  sacrificed an ear
cause it's really hard to paint thru all these tears.
