Performing a mix of country with a touch of rock and some blues too. Original heartfelt lyrics.
Kim Robben comes from a musical family. Several family members have performed at the Grand Ole Opry, so its little wonder that music runs in her blood. Kim joined her family's country band at the age of 15. She later married a violinist and raised a family. Kim began singing again during her second marriage, in which her in-laws wanted Kim to run karaoke events in the bar they owned. Kim later moved with her husband to Maine, where she joined a group called "The Natives". They performed mostly private parties until her husband's job called for a move to Virginia. She now lives in Ohio, and concentrates fully on her music. She collaborates with other virtual performers, writing her own music as well as lyrics. She is working on recording some of her original material, as well as performing live, under the name Kim Seifert, over streaming media, including concerts in the virtual world of Second Life. Kim said this of her music "...Really it is all about letting go, letting go of what is inside you, be it good, bad or whatever, and letting it come out in your voice." Kim is managed by MUSIC NOT POLITICS

Story behind the song
I went out one night with my band. My lead guitar player was a good looking guy and very confident. But, one woman in heels walked up to him, his mouth dropped, and he was done for....and this song was born.
Lyrics
Well he woke up in the morning it seemed like a pretty nice day He had chores to do and nothing was standing in his way How could he know what would blow into town that night That his world would be knocked clean outta sight The biggest storm he’d ever seen, just walked through the door She looked into his eyes, turned around, then she started to spin It was clear right then that this battle he was never gonna win Her storm crashed into the walls around his heart His defenses were down completely torn apart Everything blown away as the storm raged on She was twister in heels, she had lightning in her eyes She held him captive with her moves Ya the boy was mesmerized She was a twister in heels She even took away his sun And there wasn’t a building left standing By the time she was done So when you hear the siren sound you better get underground and lock your doors Believe me when I tell ya that you’ve never seen the likes of her before Well I’m tell you now if you don’t heed my warning That you might have nothing left by morning If you don’t take seriously the twister in heels Repeat chorus Bridge: Like a freight train going mad, she took everything he had He never saw it coming as she blew his world away Repeat Chorus
