Story behind the song
This song was written with a friend in mind who was recently diagnosed with cancer at a very young age. He is not expected to live very much longer. The idea i had was that, in general his life was just a fantasy, like a short dream. He was not meant for this world, but why? I try to exploit the answers to this question at times but have no solutions. In the end its a combination of rage mixed with acceptance on how truly unfair it is. I plan to make this a multiple movement piece with this being the first.
