I am Marga Jee, a singer and songwriter. I often perform live with a band called The Soulchasers, that through the years has featured some of best Pune musicians. It was born in 2004 after meeting Derek Julien, guitar player, and Jack Barde, drum player, from Pune, on the ground of our common love for blues and soul. We met by chance and since then we have been working together teaming up with best Pune based and traveler musicians such as Rose Eilert, Varun Venkit, Rushad Mistry, Khoji Prem, Sheri Tacci, Angelo Notte, Paola Pawan, Veet Marco, Chris Fonceca, Mike Pereira, Among Jamir, Vatayan, Dhinesh, Khalid, Almasta, Halima, etc. Since 2007 we shifted from playing cover songs to playing also original songs composed by me. For this purpose we are now trying to establish a definite and steady band to make a CD and tour India.
