Story behind the song
I was playing with some software and wanted to see how much I could alter a track. It started as a sort of Kraftwerk beep track but when I put it through a series of effects boxes out came out as the background cloud. Then that cloud was put through the same effects setup and it came out as the birdsong. So you're actually hearing the same piece twice, but radically altered from the original both times.
