Story behind the song
My friend gave me this quick sample he made on his drum machine. He is a musician himself and this was kind of a test to see if I could write a song with him. A few days later I gave him this recording. He liked it. I never redid the music or rerecored it. This recording was really just supposed to be a marker before a real recording could be done. In the end what you hear is exactly the way it sounded in my closet where I recorded it. Even though it was never recorded with better production, I still love this song. I had fun. And it came out great. Oh, by way, the song is about some shit that was going down in my life. However most the words are about my girlfriend's sister. She was going through some tough shit trying to stand by a man who in the end became a monster. He's gone for a very long time now.
