Formed in August 2007, the No Time Wasters are a twin-engined Premium Strength Powerpop band built on the core of the classic Songwriting skills of Jon Delaney (of Electroacoustic Song & Bass Duo Cloudy) and Jim Mooney (of postmodernist dark rock-pop The Dark Corners). Jon and Jim have been songwriting partners and sometimes bandmates since their teens. Now completed by the versatile rhythm section of Al Sutcliffe on bass and vocals and Paul Creedy on drums and percussion, The No Time Wasters have gigged constantly around the midlands, (including Coventry University) and the east of england throughout 2008, winning over hearts and minds as they go. They have received BBC and Independent Radio play and will be recording their debut album around Xmas.

Story behind the song
Relatively self-explanatory song about the big idea of love and direct love and romantic realism whatever that is...
Lyrics
“I’ll be Happy to Stay with You” Words/music © 1989 by JAG Delaney Verse 1 Our lives are shaped by the people we know Sometimes we love and lose them we don’t want to let go You can’t cage a free spirit or pin down a butterfly heart You don’t have to, try that hard with me Chorus Tell me you believe, that love is all you need I swear I believe its true Say you believe in one love to last a life time through And I’ll, I’ll be Happy to Stay with You Verse 2 Our lives are marked mere seconds on the clock Equal divisions the accused ….stands in the dock Some people need a little security in their lives Oh there’s one thing I’d like to hear from you Chorus as above Bridge Chorus as above
