Frank Prophet is an individual and collective effort to make contemporary music using primitive roots as the starting point. Songs have three basic areas: 1. Love; 2. God; 3. Murder. We try to keep it that way.

Story behind the song
Patrice Lumumba & the Congo in general.
Lyrics
Tonight in the orchard the first fruits lie on the ground the bright places are all covered in fog and the last fumes of gas are spent as they speed into town and the trees are soaked and filled with lead. He who has eaten the knowledge and those who would lead were taken to this spot and tied to the tree and no one seemed to be there for something no one will see. And our liberator is dead. No one wanted this, but no one seemed to protest, they'll dig a hole and drop you inside. "You can flee," they said, "or keep yourself under arrest. No one wanted to see it," no one wanted him alive. O, Saint Lumumba, you've fallen for nothing you did but take them to the orchard and beg them to eat but knowledge comes slowly out in the tropical heat the higher impulses give into the one to simply survive. Today in the orchard the fruits are devoured by swine.
