Story behind the song
Originally mixed for the experimental E.P. that pre-dated "Eternal Life," this remixed version is all KinDeezil. Nice work Deezil!
The first verse is one of my earliest following my surrender to Christ. A statement as to why I rhyme, the changes God had made in me looking back pre-surrender, the manner in which the Lord lovingly drew me and caused me to want to surrender, my struggle to break from the sinful lifestyle of my past, and the victory that I found when I learned to lean on God as my strength and my salvation. The rest of the song is just about taking a militant and aggressive stance against the enemy, and dedication to following Jesus.
