Story behind the song
This tune was actually written around the time my daughter Haley was born, in 1988 or 1989, I forget exactly, though i can remember her being an infant whe I was working out the guitar parts. It languished for about 14 years, unltimately being recorded in the Big Girl Underpants Cellar Sessions round about 2002 I honestly have no idea what the song is about, if anything, though I'm sure some of the inspiration were the two business trips I took to Germany in 1987. ...and, it ends in D Minor, the saddest of all keys.
