Many years ago I felt I'd like to make up a piece that had two separate melodies which could be played or sang together such as the one in Call me Madam or Won't you play a simple melody. I did this with words about the small rural community in which we then lived although I never shared this with anyone in case they might be offended by it. However after I'd moved back to Scotland with my daughters and when I got the cakewalk overture software I arranged the piece in memory of our former residence.

In Argenta when the snow begins to fall
Folks get fed-up doing not a lot at all.
And so they organize a meeting in the Rural Center hall
And blow some issue up into a protest.
