This was more of an experimental piece. All keyboards and vocals and some sound effects. I swished around a bottle, sprayed fly spray, breathed. I like this song, if only because of it's atmosphere.

I only really got interested in recording songs and singing in June/July 2007 when a friend told me to record a song, but I have always loved creating music one way or another (anyone remember that Music game on playstation? Haha). I can play the piano and I used to play the drums. Haven't played the drums for a while, so I'm probably not so good. Currently learning to play the guitar and I have a tin whistle somewhere that I should try to learn as well.

Story behind the song
This all came together mainly using audio effects, my trusty (yet shoddy, powered by 6 D batteries) Casio keyboard and random sound effects. The vocals were not recorded for a few weeks afterwards because it was so hard to fit them into the music, but they came eventually.
Lyrics
Ripples in the night Patterns in the foam Bubbles float on by And water floods my home Blue as blue can be I hide inside my shell I hide underneath a rock I hide because I'm scared and I'm lost Sands bring in the water and direct the sea Waves gently sweep the island shoreline Tide caresses the boat, the rain clouds meek and grey And the glass enraptures us in Why all the fishes scatter Is beyond recognition to the aquarium
