Total semi-competent amateur and proud of it! There are currently 10 full albums, 5 EPs and numerous stray tracks available here... keep checking up, cos more music is appearing all the time... For album and EP artwork, visit . If you think you can stomach more of this shit, then why not check the , and wonder at my musical development (or lack thereof...) I now also have a page dedicated to I've done for other people... Finally, there's also a wee side project that I have which goes by the name ...

Story behind the song
This was inspired by my grandad, who apparently had chances to become an artist for the Sunderland Echo and to play cricket for Durham, but cos he also had a stutter, he lacked the self-confidence to grab those chances. As a result, he spent his entire working life - some 40 years - at the coal face of Ryhope Colliery. That's something I tend to keep in mind whenever anything or anyone tries to discourage me from focussing on my music.
Lyrics
There's no way... I'm going down there Again, no way... Will I bow down and be a Slave for pay... Let all my potential go To waste.... Smothered and stifled in a Deep, dark place... Never get to feel the Sun on my face.... Always doing as the Bosses say... A life without passion is Such a shame.... Let it sink without a trace
