Well let's see. I have been playing acoustic guitar for 12 years, or playing "at" it. You decide. Been singing since I learned how to talk. Just finished competing in WCOPA 2010 in LA and it was so neat playing worship songs with other countries and Trinidad! Shout to Jessie and the others in Trinidad- you guys are awesome!

Story behind the song
Well.. Mom died and it just about killed Dad. I couldn't do much to help him, or make him feel better. In fact, I had my own screwups to deal with. But there is one thing I can always do, and people don't think that's much, but in God's eyes, it counts fer somethin'. I can pray. I can be there. I can stand in the gap in prayer and approach God's throne with another's need. So while I tried to hold it together on the outside and "be strong", not cry, etc. When I went into my room, I would pour my heart out to God and let all my emotions come out there, and pray for my Dad and my family to heal after the shock of Mom's death.
