Born some moons ago, always loved writing and drawing sice i was a kid and have written songs since i was 13, over the years since i have recorded on everything from little tape decks to nowadays my yammy n12. Eventually got brave and released some of my efforts at music onto the internet in 2007 followed a year later by a debut nerve shredding live performance of some of my tunes and a few quirky covers.

Story behind the song
I feel like i'm treading on sacred ground by covering this song, but it means a lot to me, back in the dark days of the 1990s when i was jobless and basically on the scrapheap i would play along to this (and the whole of the wonderful floyd lp it came on" and lift my spirits with endless attempts at jamming along. It's nice to have actually recorded this now, and i'm quite pleased with how it turned out, it's a bit quicker i think than the original and it's got a nice groove, i only wish i could sing and play like the floyd!!!.
Lyrics
Pink Floyd - Childhood's End (Gilmour) G D Am Em Em You shout in your sleep. Am Perhaps the price is just too steep. Em Am Is your conscience at rest if once put to the test? Em Am You awake with a start to just the beating of your heart. G D Em G D Am Em Just one man beneath the sky, just two ears, just two eyes. Em Am You set sail across the sea of long past thoughts and memories. Em Am Childhood's end, your fantasies merge with harsh realities. Em Am And then as the sail is hoist, you find your eyes are growing moist. G D Am G D Am Em All the fears never voiced say you have to make your final choice. Em Am Who are you and who am I to say we know the reason why? Em Am Some are born; some men die beneath one infinite sky. Em There'll be war, there'll be peace. Am But everything one day will cease. G D Em All the iron turned to rust; all the proud men turned to dust. Am And so all things time will mend. G D Em So this song will end. G D Am Em G D Am Em
