Story behind the song
After having seen a New England regional folkie named Jim Gallant, at a local showcase, I became enamored of his fantastically dextrous fingerstyle skills, and began working out my own tunes in that style. On one saturday afternoon, my GF and I were hanging around my appt, while I worked on various parts to the tune. I aske her what she thought the tune might be called, and she replied, "...afternoon together...", and thus it became.
