I wrote this song while on vacation in Snowmass Village, Colorado. The song was written at twilight in a beautiful house overlooking the mountains during a summer monsoon thunderstorm. It was a beautiful sensory experience, but my dark nature surfaced and turned the moment black.
Lyrics
Foggy
Misty mountains
Sorrows
Abound with approaching twilight
Soggy
Broken vase bottoms
Atoms
Infinite desolation
Raindrops pitter and patter
Blood spits and splatters
Coagulation of the mind
Thunder booming
Echoing sadness
Sorrows and atoms
Tragedy happens
Sorrows and atoms
Into madness I spasm
Sorrows and atoms
Tragedy happens
Sorrows and atoms
Into madness I spasm
Lightning illumination
Stark sorrows
Nowhere to hide
Into death we glide
Stinging jellyfish sandwiches
The gaudy new west
Greets you with an empty howdy
Wealth but no substance
Into eternal silence
