Deep, reflective, and thoughtful music. Searching for the deepest core of musical expression.
My name is Kenneth Edward Keyn. I am simply a musician. I strive to understand the deeper things that music has to offer. I am a composer of deep, rich, and expressive music. I am classically trained, but I explore a plethora of genres and styles. I specialize in orchestral, choral, and small ensemble work. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon. I am the primary co-composer on the iPhone game Trenches. I am a long standing member of OverClocked ReMix, where I am featured on multiple album releases and individual arrangements.

Story behind the song
This song was written as an entry for the Conceptual Music Competition (CMC 8). The story behind the song is as follows: "There are no familiar stars or winds. Ghosts of land vanish on the horizon like flakes of snow to the touch. Could this be real? Light and color dance on the surface. Clear as glass, yet unwilling to reveal the ocean floor. The waters move with a strange motion - as if the creatures of the deepest fathoms were at play, their distant melodies now only waves against the hull."
