REFRAIN
O give thanks, to the Lord,
For he is good,
Because his mercy endures forever.
Let Israel say, his mercy endures,
Let Aaron now say,
his mercy endures.
1. It is better to trust
2. I shall not die but live,
3. Open the gates of righteousness,
4. The stone the builders refused,
1. in the Lord than to trust in man,
2. and declare the works of the Lord,
3. I will go into them and praise,
4. is become the head cornerstone,
1. the Lord is my strength,
2. the Lord has chastened me,
3. You have heard me,
4. This is the Lord’s doing,
1. and he is my song.
2. but not left me to die.
3. You are my salvation.
4. It is marvelous.
