Sometimes, but thankfully not often, I have to write songs as a form of an apology. This is one of them.

Story behind the song
I am an Aries, which means I am a generally an emotional whirling dervish. I am impatient, impetuous, and impulsive--all fine and good until someone who's not quite ready gets caught up in Hurricane Val. That happened recently to a poor Taurus I've known for a very long time. I decided that I was ready for him, and I forgot to check and make sure he was ready for me. He was not.
Lyrics
It's good to see you again 'cause you always take me there to way back when Back to an easier time with no regrets and I could sleep at night I know I came out of nowhere I stormed in and jumped into your lap But I think this life is a journey and I use my heart just like a map and I don't look back Chorus So I'm sorry if I push on through a rocket ship flying right over the moon And I'm sorry if I go too fast a locomotive screaming on down the tracks I am sorry you feel out of place 'cause I would do anything to put a smile on your face Sometimes I scream and shout it's not how you would like me but it all works out You say it comes easy to me but baby don't you know when it comes it leaves Of course I know it's true that I have made mistakes with you One day you'll understand the reason for my wild demands but until then So I'm sorry if I push on through a rocket ship flying right over the moon And I'm sorry if I go too fast a locomotive screaming on down the tracks I am sorry you feel out of place 'cause I would do anything to put a smile on your face Bridge Oh my blue boy she did a number on you Though you're looking good I can see right through I can see right through Like a pretty piece of glass washed up on the shore edges once sharp and though they're now dull I can still see the break she made I can still tell the price you paid for being true you play it cool but I can still see through All this talk of happiness well, it's got me thinking about the way we live Pushing people back hiding in a cave like we're under attack Maybe I should just leave you alone but boy don't you know you feel just like home soft and warm So I'm sorry if I push on through a rocket ship flying right over the moon And I'm sorry if I go too fast a locomotive screaming on down the tracks I am sorry you feel out of place 'cause I would do anything to put a smile on your face on your sweet face
