Story behind the song

I've always wanted to do a cover of this song and thanks to the wonders of the net i was able to track down the chords and the words and this is the end result (so far!). 

The Original by Godiego was folk /pop ish but i decided to make mine a bit heavier and also with a bit of "earlybeatles" type sound on the one guitar and also on the chorus vocals, the main vocal was recorded in the high ceiling stairwell of my house which luckily was empty at the time, this experiment has given the vocal a strange sound to it which i quite liked!.
