Story behind the song
There is a brightness in my life. She stuck a Scooby-doo sticker on my OED. The bath belongs to Barbie and the jacket belonged to me. I threw it in the bin, it was so torn. The beach was Kinigo with my brother KP and his family. We were paddling. She was so excited by the waves coming in she sat down. I said "Oh shit" and of course she said "Oh shit" as well. I played her doo-wop cds in the kitchen. We heard people howling as we walked through the Uni campus on Halloween night. I carried her up and down the hills of the city and we ruled everything. A bar in town has a small scale Statue of Liberty on its roof. I would wheel her to look up at it every Saturday - the green woman in the sky. There is a brightness in my life.
