We are a worship band that does contemporary christian originals as well as popular worship songs.
Story behind the song
I wrote this song for my sister, Karen, who died from a rare form of skin cancer. She never wanted to talk about Jesus Christ, and I wanted her to know about Him before she died, so I wrote her the poem, which turned into a song that I got to sing at her funeral. I found out at the service that a dear friend of hers led her in the sinners prayer and she asked Jesus in to her heart!!

At times we feel so sage and wise, and everything seems great.
We seldom think of our demise, or dwell on heaven's gate.
Yet as we walk the path of life,

someday the pain we feel on earth
will end when we all die.
The here and now can be so fleeting
as we're living on this earth,
but the gift of life in our hearts beating
started long before our birth.

we'll be among our family and friends,
