Well let's see. I have been playing acoustic guitar for 12 years, or playing "at" it. You decide. Been singing since I learned how to talk. Just finished competing in WCOPA 2010 in LA and it was so neat playing worship songs with other countries and Trinidad! Shout to Jessie and the others in Trinidad- you guys are awesome!

Story behind the song
Well it seemed to me to just be a general list of things that if the Lord could just fix those things that I have trouble with, like courage, patience, contentment, and wisdom, then I'd be all right. Courage to live alone and not be wanting to "have a guy" or whatever. Patience to hang out and keep at the daily grind when sometimes you just wanna check out and say "stop the world, I wanna get off". Contentment in the things that I love, rather than wanting more. Finding joy in what I have. Happiness is a decision, not a state of mind given freely. Wisdom with the gifts given to me- so I don't waste the good things God gave me, like my money, talent, my daughter's childhood...
