melodic jazz fusion with pop/rock, classical and folk influences
I've been playing guitar and singing since I was 11. The first two songs I learned from a fellow named Bill Auld, who lived two houses up the street from us, were "Louie Louie" and "The Last Time", both 3-chord-wonders. Well, I've learned a few more chords since then, played in several bands over the years, and decided to start writing own material when I was about 18 years old. I've also always enjoyed recording, and the MIDI and home recording possibilities in combination with computers have always been fascinating to me.

Story behind the song
This song has a triplet rhythm as an accompaniment and a (hopefully) interesting melody played by a smoothly distorted guitar or trompet. In the meditative middle part the song sort of quotes itsself, something which might happen on any of those few days that seem "diamond".
