Story behind the song
There wasn't a story behind this song when it first came to be. The title was more or less a random choice, and the thought behind it was simply of coming home from a long journey.
However, the more I listen to this piece, the more it becomes connected with my mom's ongoing battle with cancer. Not sure why, but it feels like some sort of tribute to her courage and strength.
Lyrics
There are no lyrics, as this is an instrumental piece. However, I have been considering exploring its potential as a vocal piece with lyrics. I'm not much of a lyricist, but perhaps a collaboration will come about.
