Story behind the song
This music takes place during World War II. A friend of mine asked me to produce a dramatic music for a game he plays named "Doomsday". He wanted something dynamic, a "battle-like" music. So I made this one.
The second part evoke particularly the chaos of the battle, with a pessimistic ending. The choirs' last word "silents" and the dissonant chord is there to evoke the morbid desolation that comes just after the battle. We can't find the heroic tone I searched in the "Militaria" music, since this one is a dramatic view of the war.
Note that it's still my sixth composition. I hope to improve my skills again and again... :)

Cette composition cherche à évoquer la guerre. Un ami m'a demandé de lui créer une musique pour un jeu vidéo prenant place durant la seconde guerre mondiale, ses mots-clef étant "guerre, combat, action", j'ai créé ce thème. La seconde moitié tout particulièrement a été créée dans le but d'évoquer le chaos de la guerre, finissant sur une touche plutôt pessimiste et pour ainsi dire "horrifiante". Le dernier mot prononcé par les choeurs "silents" (silence) sur un jeu minimaliste et dissonant ayant pour but de représenter une certaine désolation morbide qui suit le conflit. Il n'y a plus la recherche du côté "héroïque" que l'on pouvait entendre dans "Militaria".
A noter qu'il s'agit actuellement de ma 6ème composition, et que je compte bien m'améliorer largement avec le temps. Je ne suis jamais satisfait de mon travail, et je ne le serai jamais, parce que ce que je vise c'est toujours le cran au dessus de ce que je fais ;)
