A Research Scientist by day--husband and daddy by night--and songwiter in between--Laszlo5000 is a modern day Buckaroo Banzai! Laszlo5000’s has been writing songs for 30 years--his music spans many moods and genressappy sweet, darkly sarcastic, and bawdylullabies, rock, pop, and folk. I am currently recording and mastering this collection of originals to comprise the long overdue CD Laszlo5000: Unstuck in Time (The First Fifty Years). Story behind the song
The 70s were fun in Kent, Ohio. I learned to play guitar and wrote this after learning to fingerpick from a hippy named Seaweed. My great friend Mark teased me for the sappy music I wrote. He named this song in honor of that sappiness. Daniel Lewis: Acoustic guitars and vocals Written in 1977. Recorded and mastered in Carmel, California in 2006.
Lyrics
And gently the winds that are guiding you Will set you to fly on your own As gently as leaves fall to the ground The wind will guide you to your home So be what you can be, See what you can see Dance to the music in harmony Fall with the snow, Glow as you go Flow, as waters in a stream
