Story behind the song
Written after a girl I didn't know real well, but was the friend of a friend. We were supposed to have a "date" back then but a heavy snowstorm put the kabash on it, and soon thereafter I met the girl I guess I was 'supposed to meet, as that ended up in marriage. Well, and divorce 6 years later, but oh well. The girl the song was written for did in fact have a pair of red leather pants that she looked real good in...
