Been into this rap thing for 20 years now, listening and studying more than practicing. At 25 years old, I'm finally making moves. Yeah, it's long over due, but it is all in due time. Listening to my songs and checking out my page, people may get the idea that J Malice is a monster or sicko; couldn't be further from the truth. J Malice has a heart and is willing to bet any amount of wealth that it's bigger than anyone who chooses to come through here. Don't judge a book by it's cover. You have to open the pages and read inside if you really want to know about someone.
Story behind the song
Some have said I'm crazy, they're probably right. Just remember, J Malice does have a heart. My ways may seem strange, unusual and even somewhat frightening, but I, too, hurt, just like everyone else. When someone has the wrong impression about me, thinking I'm some kind of monster, that cuts. J Malice is human just like you. However, sometimes, there just aren't enough knives........
Lyrics
I saw my mom giving birth to an alien spawn/
that looked more like me as the days went on/
and boy, did the time pace on in the hot-aching sun/
how could these people and I have relations/
I saw two kids leaving for school in bulging trench coats/
didn't think about it, but that was craziness, yo/
walked in the doors and ya know they stopped these two guys/
turned out they brought canned goods for the food drive/
I saw that lady who drowned her kids/
hoping this was I a scene I'm about to miss/
no, I guess good fortune must have got her/
because this chick couldn't find the tub stopper/
I saw Martin Luther King in Memphis, Tennessee/
his words were so powerful in what they meant to me/
would you believe me if I told you that one mean man/
didn't have a gun, nah he walked up and shook the King's hand
I saw John Mark Karr in an unmarked car on his way out/
told police he was just leaving JonBenet's house/
not one single thought of a horrible hell night/
no, they stopped him because he had a busted tail light/
I saw Pac and Suge leaving the Tyson fight/
not knowing they WERE NOT in store for a suprising night/
a would-be assailant had a gun-jam/
while Suge whispered under his breath, "how could you phukk up man"/
then in LA, I saw Biggie crusing through/
but this part was kind of confusing, dude/
couldn't tell if the red light was just flashing or broken/
anyhow, the driver of that vehicle just kept going/
I saw the hi-jackers stepping onto the planes/
then they suddenly all complained/
cause their tickets weren't acceptable for boarding/
which resulted in a glorious, Sept 11th morning/
I saw ships on the ocean, but it was kind of blurry/
cause it was so far back, had me worried/
that I wouldn't be able to make out the image/
there it is, no slaves, just all friends and friendship/
I saw a plane flying on a stormy night/
knew exactly who it was before it was in full sight/
this time, the weather cleared with no lives in the balance/
so we didn't lose Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens/
I saw so many people in really good spirits/
the feeling of love was so thick, you could almost hear it/
what I wouldn't give for it to not have been a dream/
have to remember, things aren't always what they seem/
I saw a graveyard with millions of pretty flowers/
that seemed to go on for hours and hours/
waking up, the dream is running out of time/
the grave at the end of the line, of my God, it's mine
