All three cable-news outlets ran moment-by-moment revisitations to the fateful day, and all three networks broke three different viewer ship records.
But what’s sicker? A network cashing in on perhaps thee most tragic event in this nations’ history, or an audience that will sit glued, watching and waiting for the proverbial car accident to happen, again and again.
What’s appalling isn’t only the immorality of a NEWS NETWORK rehashing the deaths of thousands, but the country of xbox-playin-TV-sittin-fatter-by-the-minute slobs who will watch.
They do what we want. And we want blood, guts, gore, decapitations, housewives slapping each other and teenagers showing their thong on a national stage, trying desperately to belt out another Mariah Carey melodrama.
And this, the same sniveling reprobates that decry the News Networks tactics on Breaking News.
You think they put “BREAKING NEWS” on the screen because it is?
No, they put Breaking news on the screen because they know you will stop to look at the car accident…even if it IS (3) days later. Ya see, it’s not them. Its YOU. And you can only sit for so long, staring and cussing at the despicality of your favorite news moniker, until your mother tells you to go to bed, because your room and board in the basement is keeping her up.
Ya know, stop watching the gruesome exploits of cars racing down the Santa Monica freeway, and maybe FOX will start reporting actual News… well, ok, maybe not FOX, but it’s a START!
