Story behind the song
This song was inspired from the lyrics of someone whom I was helping to pen the melody and write the music.
As I was trying to think of the melody lines, I felt some of the words stand out. And I felt that I the words are refering to the Holy Spirit.
The Bible says He is our Comforter, our Friend and our Helper. How true is that! When we're down, it is He who picked us up, when we're dry, it is He who watered us with His presence. And He's Omnipresent - He's always with us, always here! But we need to open our hearts to experience him, and know Him through the word, through worship and prayer...
This song reminded me of how I overcame the darkest moments of my life - not by my strength for I can never do it alone, but by His love, His faithfulness, His grace.
And I can only bow down to worship and give Him all the glory.
