I wrote the song and lyrics about when Patrick and I first met.

Can’t you stay for just a moment longer?
I’m afraid you’ll be over when I wake up.

I saw you coming through the door,
Watched your every move across the floor,
I couldn’t help but stare,
And hope this would go somewhere.

Taking in every moment with you,
As if it were the last moments I had to live,
Looking for love, and, in this moment’s gift,
Something from the past.

I was stuck in a vacuum out of reach,
Pretending to be happy, with endless glee.
