We talk about vexation of spirit, and what vanity can do. I say, "There's no amount of vanity could say enough nice things about you." She just smiles at me, says "How I wish that that were true." All of her modesty would make a million prophets proud. All of her honesty makes the tires spin around... We've been everywhere together. I've got a sweet love and when she hangs around with me it isn't a fair arrangement, and I almost feel guilty. Then again, I wouldn't let anyone take my sweet love away from me.
