Lyrics
(Chorus)
Just think about your life
and the things that you take for granted
bout the times you cryed
and it never ends like you planned it
so you seem to strive
to find a better tommorrow
yet some horrors inside this borrowed life just leave us in sorrow
Verse 1
just think if you were living life with a deadly genetic disorder
in order to survive you fill your life with social borders,
and doctors orders keep you confined to isolated quarters,
and the more the days go buy the more your life is getting shorter,
sort of living in a dream, but the dream is a reality,
and inside of your heart, you tend to spark nothing but tragedies,
a travesty, like poverty, famine and HIV,
in order to survive we have to strive to save humanity,
but in your soul, you want to live until your gray and old,
but life will take its toll when least expected even from a cold,
so what to do, will you try to live to the fullest,
or give up on hope and trying and etch your name on a bullet,
just dont pull the trigger, you figure theres a better life ahead,
eventually we all are dead, but constantly theres better meds,
and better ways, to make our lives extended longer,
theres blood donors and vaccines that make immunities grow stronger,
human genome project, has coded the genetic mapping,
that will fix disease in dna and end terminal passings
so be strong and proud, that youve made it through difficult times,
youve already got a great place waiting for you in the afterlife,
VERSE 2
just imagine if you were diagnosed with terminal cancer,
and to make things worse the chemo was only killing you faster,
theres no answer to your questions, why is life so full of lessons
and it always seems the doctors hopes are only false pretensions,
testing all your patience, it fills your conscience up with hatred
why did this happen to you instead of murderers or racist,
in their faces you treated them right never discriminated,
yet your rewards are belated and karma seems overrated,
unrelated to this rhyme, the cancers in recesion,
now you seem to realize, that the answers not a weapon
that the answers not in giving up or taking your own life,
with the right sign, like a light at the end of the tunnel,
you know theres something more waiting after the struggle,
a puddle of hope injected into a vein in your throat,
invading a storm of malignant cells that have lost all their growth,
have lost all their strenght, no longer cancerous
your passion is to let a brand new life begin
