The core members of the band that is Watson (Gary Pinkstaff, Bobby Rock and Watson Davis) first played together after a meeting at a high school talent show. They became fast friends, playing in several bands together and in various combinations until the early '80s. This CD, Psychics Are Standing By, brings them back together in 1999 and proves that once you've got chemistry, mathematics and biology really aren't so bad. The key to this CD is the songs; songs that combine message with wit. In this CD, Watson tries to merge extraordinary music with socially conscious lyrics in an attempt to answer the age old question: can great musicians write songs that don't suck?

Lyrics
I Feel Your Pain Didn’t your mother hug you When you were an itty, little bitty child Was she killed in an explosion So you could look death in the face and smile How many lives will you end Just to make your point Do you get satisfaction From the fear and hate you're sowing I feel your pain, I feel your pain I feel your pain, can you feel mine? Does it make you angry The injustice in the world Does that excuse stealing The lives of little boys and little girls Doesn’t it seem so wrong Some people have so much Some people live in terror And some go untouched I feel your pain, I feel your pain I feel your pain, can you feel mine? I can’t understand what you hope to achieve It makes no sense to me I’d love to meet you face to face And end your misery I feel your pain, I feel your pain I feel your pain, I feel your pain
