Story behind the song

A rainbow often appears after the rain, marking its end. The bow is a result of the division of sunlight into its primary colors. Oh what beauty has become of such a wet and messy day. 

When our rainy circumstances have brought us to the edge of despair, we must remember that this is only for a season, and the sun will shine again. God has a way of letting us know, even through nature, that if we just keep our faith when things seem to go wrong, he will cause the sun to shine upon our face again. So no matter what the problem, "there's a way you can escape if you just keep your faith…” so take him at his word. Although there may be storms to come, remember that the rainbow is a symbol of God’s covenant, that he will bring you out.
