Story behind the song
I had written a verse to this years ago with my old band, Dementia 13, but I never stuck music to it. I pulled the lyrics out of an old note book, and after ordering the DVD of an old Italian B movie known as Zombie Holocaust, I thought that might make a good title for the song. I then watched a few more zombie classics, Night/Dawn/Day/Land/Return of the Living Dead and compiled the rest of the lyrics for the song.
A few months after I wrote the song, I kind of just culled up the intro 'The Dead Walk.' It was supposed to be its own song, with lyrics, but it sucked so I just used the music.
