I had most of the riffs in the song documented for a while. I just put them together when the time came for me to release a demo. This song, lyrically, is about my beginning; my personal introduction into the process of becoming a Black Metal act; the initiation of my metaphorical Reign of Terror.

An event which brings all to their knees

Defeating the old governing bodies that once poisoned the minds of many
The new order will commence a new reign of terror
All seems lost
No hope lies for those stricken
by such unfortunate happenings
Nothing could have prepared their poor souls for hell on earth
Not even the belief in a god that once inspired them
The new order brought by the infernal process is here to stay
