I'm primarily a solo singer/songwriter who plays a bunch of instruments to fill in the spaces! All the tracks on here (unless mentioned) are multitracked one at a time with me playing all instruments - yeah real ones, no synthesizers, except for synthesizer sounds. In truth I would rather play with other muso's because 1) they would be better at it and 2) it would add other dimensions, but it takes so much more time...

Story behind the song
An inspirational moment started with the riff and went on from there
Lyrics
Verse 1 A lonely booth in a smoky bar another drink, a jazz guitar Familiar faces nod and leave me be I don't know what brought me here relived memories I fear of when at first we met and fell in love Verse 2 Another time in this same booth I was stunned to tell the truth That someone quite so perfect could be here We talked late into the night Everything just seemed so right And then you took my hand and led me home Chorus Blame it on the weather a rainy afternoon I couldn't know I'd meet you then Or that you'd leave so soon Blame it on the weather Verse 3 Oh those times they were so good I had always understood That we would be together 'till the end But time has past and you've moved on mem'ries stay though you have gone I can't accept that's how the story ends Chorus Bridge They say the heart that holds on to the past will break [Yet] if I could do it over, I wouldn't hesitate [Oh] please tell me this is all a dream gone bad [or] am I to live my life out, feeling oh so sad 'Cause when I close my eyes I see You right there in front of me and I hear your laughter in my ears Chorus Blame it on the weather Blame it on the weather
