Welcome to my page here at Soundclick. I'm a guitarist and composer, jazz mostly but I do wander into some more eclectic things on occasion. Been retired from State of Illinois since 2014. Story behind the song
Variations was written in 1977, while a student at Peabody Conservatory of Music. It was performed once at school, in 1978, and again in Rochester Michigan in 1979. This is the '79 performance. David Daniels is the conductor, members of the Pontiac-Oakland Symphony performing.
